EMT Demolition Ltd (“EMT Demolition”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a demolition and strip-out company based in Wellington, New Zealand. Our website is www.emtdemolition.co.nz. Contact us at rene@emtdemo.co.nz.
2. What We Collect
We only collect information you voluntarily provide when submitting a quote request:
- Full name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Project description
We do not collect payment information, government identifiers, sensitive personal information, or use tracking pixels, advertising networks, or behavioural analytics tools.
3. How We Use It
Your information is used solely to:
- Respond to your quote request
- Contact you about your demolition project
- Send a confirmation email acknowledging your enquiry
We do not use your information for marketing, sell it to third parties, or share it with anyone except as described in Section 4.
4. Data Storage & Third Parties
Your submitted data is stored securely in Supabase (cloud database on AWS infrastructure). Quote notification emails are sent via Resend. Both are used solely for operational purposes under their own privacy policies.
Data may be stored on infrastructure outside New Zealand. We take reasonable steps to ensure overseas transfers are subject to appropriate safeguards.
5. Cookies
This website uses functional cookies strictly necessary for operation. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. A cookie notice appears on your first visit where you can accept or decline non-essential cookies.
6. Your Rights — NZ Privacy Act 2020
Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to:
- Access personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information
- Withdraw consent at any time

7. GDPR — EU/UK Visitors
If you are in the EU or UK, you also have rights under GDPR/UK GDPR including data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. 8. Data Retention
Quote request data is retained for up to 3 years for legitimate business purposes. You may request earlier deletion at any time.
9. Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS. Access to stored data is restricted to authorised personnel via role-based access controls. We do not store passwords — authentication is handled by Supabase Auth with row-level security enforced on all tables.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance.
